Auto Daily Diary

Around several years ago, Musk had a vision of robot taxis and shared, promising more of them would hit the street. This taxi doesn’t have any steering wheels or pedals and relies on Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) software. The car also features a dash similar to the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y.

The door opens upwards, giving you a pass to it’s small cabin meant just for two passengers. It also features inductive wireless charging, eliminating the need for human interaction during the charging process. The cargo is large, as showcased in the photo, and on its wheels it is covered by giant disk-like covers.

The Robotaxi will enter production sometimes in 2026, with the target price at $30,000. He continues and explains that the vehicle relies on artificial intelligence and cameras. Tesla plans to operate a fleet of Robotaxis and Robovans and will be available to hire through an app.
