2024 Toyota Land Cruiser just acquired a new bespoke design that one of the craziest ever done. The ROX feutures a convertible rooftop that brings back memories of the classic Land Cruiser of yore.
The Calty design and research team reworked on almost the ROX concept half body so that they can come up with one of the most spectacular Vehicle of all time. We will be comparing between the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser and the Reworked version of it Toyota Land Cruiser ROX from it’s design, powetrain and upgrades.
Design and Appearance
The Toyota Land Cruiser ROX Concept seams to have better design sightly compared to the 2024 Land Cruiser. The ROX feutures an open road experience thanks to it’sliding rooftop also at the back serves as a pickup truck bed. The original one rear served as large flat Cargo area ,the rear seats can fold or tumble forward to increase the area even more. The exterior front design receive new roof rack that features custom triple bar rack and a seven auxiliary lights point forward from top of the roof. The front features custom rear steel bumpers with red tow hooks,brush guards and winch.
Interior and Tech
Starting up with the Land Cruiser 2024 ,it is a five seater two row SUV , and the inside vibe is less luxurious and more utilitarian. Both rows are roomy with lots of headroom and legroom. There are physical control for climate and access to several off-road settings. For Infortainment the 2024 Cruiser came 12.3 inch touchscreen and synthetic leather seats with heating and ventilation.
The ROX on the other hand it feutures a skeleton like doors that sits above brawny rockrails. Custom 3D printed front and rear door sills to give top weather proof. The cabin cabin has new color with heritage orange leather and the door panels has built in safety kits and a webbing that can be used to store sunglasses and more .
Power and Performance
The ROX hasn’t disclosed if it uses same powertrain specifications as of 2024 Land Cruiser which used a turbocharged 2.4 liter four cylinder engine that was paired by a hybrid system combining to produce 326 horsepower and 465 Lb ft of torque. It’s power was routed through eight speed automatic transmission and standard four wheel drive.
In the ROX,the suspension is tweaked adding a four inch lift and increasing track width by eight inches thanks to it’s aluminum control arm at front and back.
