The New McLaren W1 power lies from all new hybrid powertrains that consist of a MHP-8 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, an E-module that is powered by a 1.384kWh battery and an 8-speed dual clutch transmission that has an integrated E-Differential. Both work together to get a ground-breaking performance and produce a total of 1258 horsepower and 988 lb ft of torque. The maximum speed reaches 217 MPH (350 kmh) and achieves 124 mph (200 km/h) from 0 in just 5.8 seconds. With electric drive only, the W1 can drive 1.2miles (2km).

The interior design features a crafted wraparound, providing best-in-class visibility, driver focus, and comfort. The side pods are inspired by McLaren F1 and work perfectly with the exterior shrink-wrapped organic surfaces to guide the airflow around the W1 Aerocell.
