Investigation Underway After Ford Self-Driving Test Car Crash – News

In a recent incident, a self-driving test car from Ford was involved in a collision that left two people injured. The crash occurred when a Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV, equipped with the company’s semi-automated driving system, collided with a Honda CR-V that had initially come to a stop on the highway lanes.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is actively investigating the incident, focusing on whether Ford’s driver-assistance system played a role in the crash. Preliminary information suggests that the Honda CR-V was stationary in the middle lane without its lights on around 9:50 PM. Tragically, the accident resulted in the loss of a 56-year-old CR-V driver’s life.
