You don’t become one of the most super-smooth rides on the road without making some compromises, but the Range Rover’s remarkable off-road performance is amazing. Even junior off-roading wannabes will be well in clover, thanks to the vehicle’s assorted drive modes that automatically adjust settings for whatever adventure lies ahead. This luxury SUV has a starting price in the six-figure range, and it takes on statuses like the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

Power and Performance

As before, varying driving flavors are covered by a wide range of powertrains in the 2025 Range Rover, beginning with a turbocharged inline-six mated to a 48-volt hybrid system (P400) that, when equipped in this way, creates a healthy 395 hp, smooth and effortless in action. For all the power you want, the 523-hp twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine, which is labeled the P530, increases the SUV’s towing capacity to a stout 8,200 pounds. The P550e plug-in hybrid makes 542 horsepower and has a range of about 51 miles on battery power only. Resting at the peak of the lineup is one with the 606-hp V8, the P615 in top-dog SV trim. You drive it and it’s wonderful, the adjustable air suspension doing an amazing job to make sure this feels like a car flowing on the road. But even in Dynamic mode it firms up into a sportier, yet still comfortable, tune.

0–60 MPH Times

Performance lovers will certainly appreciate the P530, which netted sub-six second 0-60 mph times in the short wheelbase (SWB) Range Rover. The six-cylinder P400 version is equally at home doing the 60-mph sprint in 5.5 seconds, while Land Rover says the P550e plug-in hybrid will handle it in just 4.8 seconds.

Interior: Comfort and Cargo

The interior is a veritable pillowy oasis of luxury, with leather and natural woods high on the list of quality materials, although buyers can also specify their Range Rover be built with sustainable, leather-free materials that use wools and premium textiles instead. Seating configerations Range from four, five or seven passengers, depending on wheelbase length. Ultimate headroom in the third row is slightly better, but if you’ve got long legs, you’ll find that you have a tough time in the long-wheelbase models; it’s a space that seems best left to children and shorter adults. A split rear liftgate provides an outdoor seating area for tailgating or other gatherings, and a motorized cargo divider, optional for 2024, holds items securely in place. The cargo area is quite generous: The short-wheelbase models offer as much as 83.5 cubic feet behind the front row, while long-wheelbase versions stretch that to nearly 92.8 cubic feet of volume.

Infotainment and Connectivity

For connectivity, an industry-best 13.1-inch curved touchscreen with Land Rover’s intuitive Pivi Pro interface makes its way to the 2025 Range Rover. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay, an all-American lineup gets android auto with external wheel and voice commands via Amazon Alexa. It also features In-dash navigation and Wireless phone charging. There’s a dash of extra sophistication in the shape of the 13.7-inch digital gauge display. Rear-seat occupants are presented with a choice of entertainment system, consisting of dual 11.4-inch screens. And audiophiles will be pleased to see the 1600-watt Meridian sound system with 35 speakers available, including what the driver can assume is some type of noise-canceling tech buried in the headrests for those serious-listening moments.

Pricing

Pricing for the new 2025 Range Rover begins at $109,525 for the base P400 SE model and tops out at a whopping $210,625 for the flagship P615 SV. This mid-range Autobiography trim is good value as it incorporates high-end equipment such as a 1600-watt Meridian audio system, ambient noise cancellation, and further comfort-centric offerings that will be welcomed by desirers of luxury. Opt the long-wheelbase version — which comes with several extra inches of interior space — and the potential for a third-row seat opens up, a boon for families or for anyone who just needs that extra space for storage.

Safety Features and Driver-assistance Technology

To help provide peace of mind on the road, the 2025 Range Rover liner comes with a suite of advanced safety and driver-assistance technologies. Notable options include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. All of these features are standard, mind you, ensuring that the Range Rover is as safe and reliable a car the entire family as well as an individual can own. “Potential owners can see its crash performance via the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Summary: The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover combines the best of both worlds in the way of luxury and adventure for buyers who won’t settle for anything less on- and off-road.
