Engine and Transmission

The Peugeot 3008 hybrid takes center stage. It features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 136 horsepower, complemented by an electric motor generating 22 horsepower. Together, they deliver a combined output of 158 horsepower. In comparison, the electric version packs a punch with 210 horsepower, reaching 0 to 60 mph in just under two seconds—considerably quicker than the hybrid, which takes 10.2 seconds. The electric powertrain excels in short-distance driving, optimizing fuel consumption.

Interior Comfort and Features

Inside the Peugeot 3008, you’ll find a small, hexagonal steering wheel that sits comfortably in your lap. The E-3008 offers an ergonomic driving position. Adjacent to the steering wheel, a slim touchpad provides shortcuts to the large screen, allowing easy access to essential menus. Climate control functions are conveniently configured on the screen. Additionally, the gear lever switch behind the steering wheel creates extra space in the center console, accommodating cupholders and storage.

The backseats offer ample room, even for adults. However, those with longer legs may find foot space somewhat limited.

Infotainment and Displays

The cabin features a dominant 21.0-inch digital screen positioned atop the dashboard. Paired with another slim screen for shortcuts, this touch-enabled display provides infotainment on the right side and essential information (such as speed range) on the left. The combination of screens ensures a seamless user experience.

Storage Capacity

The Peugeot 3008 boasts a spacious storage area with 520 liters of capacity. While it’s deep, it’s not exceptionally high, making it easy to fit large items. However, be mindful of the sloping bootlid, which could impact taller objects.

Pricing

2024 Peugeot 3008 is priced between $38,000 and $40,100, offering a competitive range for its features and performance.

Safety and Driver Assistance Features

Although the updated safety and driver assistance features have not been tested yet, previous models included standard key features such as lane-keeping, emergency braking, post-collision systems, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree parking camera.
