If you are looking for a midsize sedan that combines style, space, comfort, and performance, you might want to consider the Toyota Camry. The Toyota Camry is one of the top-ranked midsize sedans by best testers and publishers in the world, such as Edmunds. This current Camry generation version is not only stylish, spacious, comfortable, and pleasant, but also offers an all-wheel drive option for more stability and traction.

Pricing

The price of the 2023 Toyota Camry varies depending on the location and the trim and options you choose. The base price ranges from $27,415 to $35,190, but you can customize your Camry with different features and packages to suit your needs and preferences.

 Engine & Transmission

The Camry has a standard four-cylinder engine connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine delivers a smooth and efficient ride, with an impressive fuel economy of 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. If you want more power, you can opt for the hybrid model, which combines a less powerful engine with a battery and two electric motors. The hybrid model can achieve up to 51 mpg in the city and 53 mpg on the highway. For the ultimate performance, you can choose the XLE and XSE models, or the TRD variant, which have a 301-horsepower V6 engine that can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds.

Performance

The Toyota Camry is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience. The transmission responds well to quick shifting and the suspension is slightly sportier, giving a more hunkered-down feel. The steering is precise and responsive, and the brakes are easy to control with a light and responsive pedal. The Camry also has a variety of driving modes, such as Eco, Normal, Sport, and Smart, that allow you to adjust the performance and efficiency of your car according to your driving conditions and preferences.

 Interior

The interior of the Toyota Camry is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for passengers and cargo. Some models, like the XLE, are luxurious, with leather seats, wood trim, and ambient lighting. On the front dashboard, the Camry has a touchscreen infotainment system called Entune 3.0, which provides loads of features and responds well to user input. You can access your phone, music, navigation, and apps through the system, which also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. For the driver, there are wide and clear gauges, and simple and well-labeled buttons that are relatively intuitive, even for the tech-averse drivers. The radio volume and tuning knobs are small and easy for the driver to reach, although not so easy for the passenger, who has to stretch a bit.

Storage and Cargo

The Camry provides a 15.2 cubic foot trunk area, which is enough to fit your luggage, groceries, or other items. The trunk also has a wide opening and a low liftover height, making it easy to load and unload your cargo. If you need more space, you can fold the back seat to create more room for storage of long or large items.

Toyota Camry Models

The Camry comes in six trim options: LE, SE, SE Nightshade, XSE, XLE, and TRD. Each trim has different features and options, such as exterior styling, interior materials, safety and driver assistance systems, and entertainment and convenience features. You can also choose between a four-cylinder engine and an optional V6 and all-wheel drive four-cylinder, depending on your desired performance and efficiency.
