The 2024 Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance is now aspirated with a V8 engine and both with the gearbox plugged in from the RC F coupe. It joins the muscular cars in America to be the competitor of the Ford Mustang.
Comparing with the S650-gen Mustang, only the horsepower separates these two powerhouses—just 1 HP separation—the length, width, and wheel base are just a bit from each other, and the weight is just a little from one another.
It’s 5.0 liter V8 heart pumps out power to up to 472 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 395 lb ft of torque. From the engine, an eight-speed automatic gearbox bangs off an upshift with rapid velocity. Like other modern performance cars, it quickly accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.
For ultimate performance, not only is it’s 472 horsepower V8 engine aids, but also it’s chassis dating back to the 2014 models, and the gearbox is the same on the 2008 model.
Stepping inside the 2024 IS 500 F sports performance, it features a solid touchscreen and arrays of physical buttons almost for everything. The steering wheel hosts heated and ventilating seat buttons, pausing audio. There is a CD changer not much found in the latest car models, which makes you feel like you are in throwback times.
Highlighting the interior, the Lexus IS 500 sports performance sedan has some of the best seats. That’s because it lacks a hyperbole, which makes it a great sports car and can accommodate a few other passengers at the back. Also coming in this Sport sedan is a 1,800-watt, 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system.
The market price of IS It starts at $60,735 and is ranked among the cars that are better performers on the road. The cargo space is at 10.8 cubic feet, which is helpful when wanting to carry your luggage through your trip.
