The Next Generation GMC Terrain is designed for adventure as well as provides Comfort and Style. It holds a bold exterior and interior that perfectly fits any lifestyle. The GMC Terrain will come in three distinctive trims with the lineup beginning with 2025 Terrain Elevation, and the others will come later in 2026, including the 2026 Terrain Denali and 2026 Terrain AT4.

The 2025 GMC Terrain Elevation features an array of Standard features, including heated front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control and remote start. All of these take part in providing this SUV with a comfortable and luxurious ride. For those who would like to have more off-road performance, The Terrain AT4 will be the best choice; it offers a unique appearance and a variety of premium and capabilities features.

The unique grills and red recovery hooks on the GMC Terrain AT4 give it an athletic look, and for protection, it has a front skid plate and underbody metal shield. The GMC Terrain Denali combines Luxury and Performance, giving chrome accents and premium 19-inch wheels,which are sstandard and give it an upscale appearance. Also, 20-inch wheels are the largest ever produced on GMC Terrain.

The Elevation trim has standard 17-inch wheels providing a strong foundation, and all-wheel drive models will come equipped with off-road mode. 19-inch gloss wheels, painted black grill, roof-mounted side rails, and additional features are available on the black edition. While the Terrain AT4 receive the same 17-inch standard wheels that enhance strength and durability off-road, it also has a lifted ride height to help easily tackle obstacles, and they can be adjusted on different modes to provide traction control and add automatic braking to help maximize performance in varying surfaces.

2025 GMC Terrain

All the GMC Terrain models receive a standard 11.5-litre turbocharged engine that delivers 175 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque on their FWD models or either 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque on their AWD models. An eight-speed standard automatic transmission is offered on all-wheel-drive models, that’s the AT4 and the Denali trims. The Elevation FWD trim gets a standard Continuous Variable transmission (CVT).CVT helps simulate step gear shifting to enhance acceleration and reduce noise at higher engine loads and speeds, making driving more enjoyable.

The interior of the GMC Terrain is covered by luxurious materials and modern conveniences. The front seats are wider than in previous models. The electronic transmission range selection (ETRS) in the steering column minimizes the use of space and allows the creation of simple, practical storage. For the infotainment system, an 11-inch screen located at the centre console provides the driver information, and also a premium 15-inch GMC infotainment system allows the driver and passenger to view three applications at the same time, making it easier and more accessible. You can drag and drop apps that you love into the tray to allow easy access from anywhere in the system.

Other features include Rainsense wipers and an available heated wiper park. New available Auto sense for the lift gate, which will allow the lift gate to automatically raise while standing behind the vehicle with your key. The safety and driver assistance features include HD surround vision of up to 8 cameras providing remarkable visibility. Key standard safety features are Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking and Rear Cross cross-traffic braking.
