Evenflo Company Inc. has issued a recall of Titan 65 child seats, model number 371298. The recall covers those seats manufactured between March 17, 2025, and May 1, 2025.

The problem stems from the child seats being packaged with an incorrect instruction manual, which may result in improper installation and restraining of a child, increasing the risk of them getting injured in case of a crash.

The report comes when Evenflo received a report from a customer who took about 4 Titan 65 child seats and the product got delivered with an instruction manual for a different product. This led to Evenflo conducting investigations of the issue and reviewing the production process at its relevant plant.

According to NHTSA, Evenflo planned to reach out to the affected owners by mail, which started on 15 July 2025, giving them information on how to inspect and replace the instruction manual. This process will be offered free of charge. Owners can also contact Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5925 or visit the NHTSA website for more details.
