The 2024 BMW i7 will make some sense of being a large luxury car with an electric powertrain. It features a powerful electric powertrain, which enhances the feeling of serenity that luxury buyers would want because of its silence. BMW added the 650 horsepower to M70 and 449 horsepower to the e-drive50 models in the i7s lineup for this year. It’s most powerful electric powertrain setup makes this sedan perform better in acceleration, from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, and range is estimated at 295 miles driving range.

Power and performance

The i7 uses the same powertrain setup as one found in the iX, with two electric motors driving on each axle, making a combined 536 horsepower. The rear-wheel drive model which is the eDrive50, makes a total of 449 horsepower and the M70 model adds up the power to 650 horsepower, and its performance from 0 to 60 mph uses just 3.3 seconds, thus more performing than the i7 xDrive60, which takes 4.1 seconds.

Range, Charging, and Battery Life

The xDrive60 offers an estimated driving range of 318 miles per charge, while the M70 models deliver 291 miles per charge. For the eDrive50, it tops up driving range to 321 miles per charge. It’s large 101.7 kWh battery pack can be connected with a DC fast charging station, taking just 10 minutes to fill up 80 miles of range.

BMW provides a classy interior with tons of space and great quality. Every inch of the front and rear seats will impress visually with their premium materials wrapping every area, while also providing a high level of comfort. The Executive Lounge packs a whole lot of extra stuff to offer rear-seat passengers, including power-adjustable, reclining seats with wireless charging and plush headrests. When it comes to storage, the trunk is massive as well and loads very easily.

The 2024 BMW i7

Inspired by the BMW iX SUV, the digital dashboard features a large floating display that seamlessly merges the digital gauge cluster and infotainment system into a single interface. A 31.3-inch screen that descends from the ceiling is also available as part of a state-of-the-art rear-seat entertainment system. The rear passengers can enjoy streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu and YouTube to make the trip a movie, or game with friends.

The price of this 2024 BMW i7 starts at $106,700 and goes up to $169,500 depending on the trim and option. This trims include BMW eDrive50 at $106,700 , the xDrive60 going at $125,200 and the BMW M70 going at $169,500.
