Coming in 2026, all Cadillac Optiq will have improved performance and more horsepower. The Optiq V performance model became the big news for 2026 for having more horsepower, but now that has changed.
Now, every version of the 2026 Optiq will have a new powertrain setup with the dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain producing about 50 percent more usable power and torque than before. The single motor, which is the base model, joins the lineup with more power than the previous dual-motor model.
The previous 2025 Cadillac Optiq Dual-motor AWD had 300 horsepower, while the previous single-motor RWD model wasn’t offered.
With the new setup, now the base Optiq has a 315-horsepower electric motor that drives the rear wheels, and the all-wheel-drive Optiq with front and rear motors makes 440 horsepower. Joining the lineup for 2026, the Optiq V now has 519 horsepower, which makes it the most powerful Optiq in the lineup.
For the Range, the company states that the rear-wheel-drive base model can travel up to 300 miles of range on a charge, the all-wheel-drive dual motor claims 280 miles of range on a charge, and the Optiq V is estimated to cover 275 miles of range.
The pricing starting with the RWD configuration will be less expensive than last year’s model and will start at $52,395, while the AWD may start at $55,000 and above.
