The 2026 Aston Martin DB12 S makes an entry as the top variant in the DB12 lineup. Almost two years ago, Aston Martin announced the successor of the DB11 GT. Now that is complete after they launched a new version known as the 2026 DB12.

Starting with the new S trim, it uses a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that generates about 690 horsepower, while the non-S variant generates 670 horsepower, a difference of 20 horsepower between them.

Peak torque stays still with 590 pound-feet of torque delivered at 2750 rpm. With the new launch control system, the DB12, especially the S variant, is said to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, which is a 0.1 improvement.

The 2026 Aston Martin DB12 receives a new quad-tip exhaust system, which boosts the noise level to 1.5 decibels and is built with titanium material, which reduces the weight of the car by 26 pounds.

The manufacturer detailed that the chassis is engineered to increase the feeling of agility and precision, and it builds a connection between the driver and the car. They added a stiffer rear anti-roll bar and did some software adjustments in the dampers, altering pitch and roll, and made changes to the toe and caster geometry settings, which aim to improve front-to-end feel and driver confidence.

Also, they have done some updates and tuning on the electronically rear differential, which now allows the driver to get on the throttle earlier in corners, which in the end improves existing speeds.

Carbon ceramic brakes come as standard on the S variant, while for others it will cost $14,500. The carbon ceramic brakes improve braking performance and manage heat production, also saving 60 pounds of weight compared to the steel brakes.

Coming to its exterior, the DB12 gets a new dual front splitter and louvers on the hood to improve better airflow and can also be finished in gloss black or have exposed carbon fiber. The louvers play a role in extracting hot air from the turbo.

The body also has new side slides that follow the lines created by the splitter, all in gloss black. Just below, the new matching rear diffuser works with the rear fixed spoiler, reducing the rear-end lift.

Going inside the 2026 Aston Martin DB12 gives many options for its interior colors, with Accelerate leather and Alcantara, Inspire S semi-aniline leather and Alcantara, or Inspire S full semi-aniline leather. The configuration that follows features herringbone quilting and an Alcantara headliner.

Other interior features include a heated sports steering wheel or a choice of either standard 16-way Sports Plus electric seats or, included in your list, a pair of optional carbon fiber performance bucket seats, which will reduce the weight of the car.

This new 2026 DB12 S variant is available for order, with expectations of it being delivered early 2026. The real pricing isn’t out yet, but we expect to start at around $270,000 to $290,000.
