The cabin seems more confining, and the digital cluster gauges are easier to read and offer different display options quite, rating it below 40%. The rear seats are good for adults, and the front seats are comfortable and excellent.
Notable competitors include the Audi A6, Volvo S90, and 2024 Mercedes Benz E450 among others. The Mercedes Benz optional adaptive dumpers go softer than BMW’s electronically controlled units, but due to the steering wheel’s lightness on both effort and feedback, the 540i can tackle corners at ease.
