The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas is a three-row  SUV that offers ample space and comfort and can accommodate up to seven adults. The third-row seats can be folded to increase the cargo area for storing spacious items. When it comes to power, the Atlas features a 269-horsepower turbocharged inline-four-cylinder engine connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas engine

The Atlas is equipped with a 269-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 273 pound-feet of torque. It can be paired with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. During testing, the 2024 VW Atlas accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.3 seconds.

– The front seats are quite comfortable, with long seat bottoms ideal for long-legged drivers.

– The second-row seats are slightly wider, while the third-row headrests are tall enough for passenger comfort.

– A three-zone climate control system and vents ensure that passengers in the third row stay comfortable.

– The updated front dashboard features improved materials and a standard 12.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.

– Other features include a six-speaker sound system, wireless phone charging, and six USB-C ports with 45 watts charging power.

The Atlas provides 20.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third-row seats. When the second-row seats are folded, the space increases to up to 96.6 cubic feet.
