The 2024 GLE is a midsize SUV that features a spacious interior and five-seat arrangement, with an optional third-row seat. The interior is made up of fine materials such as genuine leather, wood, and a true sense of luxury. The front seats, the armrest, and the center console lid can be heated to provide a more conducive environment while inside. The interior is spacious enough and can be outfitted with an optional third row of seats. On the dashboard, the GLE boasts a prominent display, and the interior is equipped with other tech features.

Infotainment and Connectivity

A dual 12.3-inch infotainment display stretches nearly the length of the dashboard. The upgraded MBUX voice recognition makes it easier to interact with the system. A touchpad at the center console allows for tactile interaction with the infotainment system, and the screen is also touch-sensitive. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, are all standard, which makes keeping up with calls, texts, and other communications while on the go a little easier.

Engine, Transmission and Performance

The GLE 450 comes with a standard all-wheel drive and a 362-hp powertrain that consists of a turbocharged inline-six 2.0-liter engine and an electric motor that combine to provide 381 horsepower. This combination makes the GLE 450 move from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds, compared to the GLE 350, which can move from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.6 seconds. The GLE 350 is powered by a 255-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine with either rear- or all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Conclusion

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 comes with a 23.3-kWh battery pack, but Mercedes has not yet released information on the estimated driving range. The GLE 450 is a fuel-efficient SUV, thanks to its four-cylinder engine. It also comes with safety and driver assistance features such as:
