Hyundai has launched a new Seven Seater SUV that will offer gas and electric powertrain. This comes as Hyundai Announced at the automaker’s annual CEO investor day event in Seoul their strategies over the next few years, keeping the goal to sell 2 Million EVs per year globally by 2030.

This will be done by adding more hybrids to the lineup. During that time, Hyundai Motor President and CEO Jae Hoon Chang also announced their big plans into venturing the U.S. Market and also Jobs as the upcoming 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 9 Seven-Seats SUV will be built at Metaplant in Georgia. The production model is expected to be seen later this year at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Next-generation hybrid system dubbed TMED-II will reach production models starting early next year. it will be an enhanced version of the existing hybrid powertrain, and it will provide significantly improved fuel efficiency and performance.

This SUV will debut from Genesis Hyundai’s Luxury Brand and targets 80,000 units of production per year in North America. China will start its production of the same model in 2026. The Range will be over 900 km or 560 miles when fully charged, and Hyundai will also offer smart regenerative braking and Vehicle-to-load ( V2L).

The interior consists of a Seven-Seats configuration placed on a completely flat floor. The huge set of doors will open from the middle out. also, a conventional steering wheel or retractable control stick will be expected on the Hyundai Ioniq 9.
