The Monterey Car Week is coming up; we may expect some launches and reveals of the wild cars. Maserati kicked out by releasing a teaser photo of a new super sport car which will be reaveled at this year event that will kick off on August 16 at the Quail.

The Company didn’t say so much, but they confirmed the model to be an” evolution of the MC20” and says will “inherit the spirit of the GT2 Racecar“.

In the Teaser you can see the front fender vents and carbon fiber spitter and on zoom a blue brake calipers can be seen and also what appears to be a ventilated hood. Some suggestions that the model may be a street legal.

For the power it’s likely to retain the twin turbo 3.0 liter V-6 Nettuno engine that develops 621 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque.its connected to an eight speed dual clutch transmission that we may also expect an acceleration of 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, the top speed is 202 mph.

More details will be revealed full at the Quail, a motorsport gathering, part of this Monterey Car Week ,California. The event will take place on August 16 on a Friday.
