For decades, the Honda Prelude concept has epitomized sporty coupes. Now, the 2026 Honda Prelude emerges as a two-door hybrid coupe, poised to fill the void left by the discontinued Civic and Accord Coupes. Let’s delve into what we know about this exciting new model.

Exterior and Design

The New Prelude boasts dimensions that strike a balance between agility and comfort. With a length of approximately 169.3 inches and a wheelbase of about 101.4 inches, it offers a harmonious blend of sleek styling and practicality. Standing at heights of 51.2 and 51.6 inches respectively, the Prelude’s proportions exude confidence.

Honda’s Chief Engineer, Tomoyuki Yamagami, acknowledges that while the Prelude embodies a sleek design, it may not be the absolute “sportiest, zippiest car.” Nonetheless, its aesthetics promise a compelling presence on the road.

Pricing

Prospective buyers can expect the 2026 Honda Prelude to start around $31,000, with higher trims reaching up to $38,000. The sport trim is estimated at $31,000, while the sport touring variant is priced at $38,000.
