For the 2026 Subaru Impreza lineup, the base model will be no more and pricing gets an additional $2,260 which sees it climbing from $24,360 to $26,595. The new generation of the Impreza was launched back in 2024, and currently Subaru has made some tweaks for the 2026 model year Impreza.

After the base model was removed from the Impreza lineup, only the Sports and RS models will continue in production. The sports model will start at $26,595 going up to $27,790 and will use a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter, flat-four-cylinder engine that generates 152 horsepower and 142 pound-feet of torque.
The RS model gets an additional $395 to its pricing and comes in black rear badging. The starting price is $29,495 going up to $30,690, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder is used, producing 180 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque compared to the Sports model. The power has decreased by 2 horsepower, with Subaru emphasizing that the revision of the 2.5-liter has led to this decrease and also has improved responsiveness; now torque is available at lower RPM.
The two engines are connected to a continuously variable automatic transmission, and the steering wheel is mounted on the paddle shifters, which simulates eight gears if someone wants to shift for themselves.

The interior of the 2026 Subaru Impreza features an 11.6-inch multimedia plus infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which are standard. Driver aid features on the 2026 Subaru Impreza include Subaru’s latest driver assistance technology and emergency lane keeping assist.

The paint color is optional and ranges from Citron Yellow pearl that costs $395 and a black rear badging. Features that would come on the 2026 model include the automatic shutdown after 30 minutes of idling.
