In Coming year of 2026, the all-new BMW Based on the M2 will now take its place in the hall of fame within BMW’s racing team, following in the footsteps of the famous M235i Racing, M240i Racing.

The 2026 BMW M Series Racer will make its way to the track in 2026, and it is still well under covers. Shown here only in picture form, the 2 Series is obviously based on the M2 and has been given an intensive makeover to ready it for racing.

This car’s unmistakable front view facia is tinted in black and white camouflage. Add a thick front splitter and a loud red tow strap, and you have this concept very much resembling the road-going M2. As might be expected, kidney grilles and air intakes look impressively similar to those on the standard M2. Other upgrades include specially designed wheels with high-performance Goodyear Tires and lowered ride height; inside, you’ll find purpose-built sports car seats.

At heart, though, the M2 Racer is an out-and-out competitor, designed to do battle in a class alongside the likes of the Toyota GR86 Cup and Ford Mustang Dark Horse R, in regional series at least.

While information on its competitive premiere remains top secret, fans look forward to upcoming BMW M Motorsport news expected to be the headlight of the most exciting future for the 2 Series on the track.
