The 2024 Ford Mach-E definitely is a performing electric vehicle. This crossover may have a strong connection to the 50-year Mustang coupe, and it’s different from the loud, racy side pony cars getting so quick, powerful, good-looking, beautiful, and great family car.
The trims of the 2024 Mach-E include Select, which features a single electric motor on the rear wheel drive together with the premium RWD variants. The AWD variants of the premium and select variants may be a choice, but their range is reduced. The other trims are the 2024 Mach E GT, 2024 Mach-E GT performance, 2024 Mach-E GT Bronze, and Ford Mustang Mach E Rally.
Power and Performance
The Mustang Mach-E came in either a standard 70.0 kWh battery or an extended range 91.0 kWh battery pack that feeds a single electric motor on the RWD, Select Trim, or Premium Trim. The other configuration is motor on each axle in AWD on the remaining four trims.
In the AWD version, 346 horsepower and 428 pound feet of torque are pumped out from the motors, while in the rear wheel drive, a total of 290 horsepower and 317 pound feet of torque are pumped out. For performance, getting the E Mach GT performance, it quickly shoots from 0 to 60 mph in the time of 3.7 seconds.
Range and Battery Life
According to an estimate by the EPA, the range on the lineup can either be at 250 miles or go up to 320 miles on a charge, depending on the size of the battery pack and how many electric motors are in it. The Mach-E has fast charging capabilities and also allows home charging.
Interior, infotainment, and cargo
For excellent space inside, the E Mach-E battery pack is sandwiched between the bottom of the car and the floor. The dashboard hosts a digital gauge cluster that’s attractive in nature and a huge 15.5-inch vertical-oriented touchscreen. The touchscreen allows easy access to the system functions and apps. Top features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a mobile wifi hotspot, and a Bang and Olufsen audio system depending on the trim and option.
The interior also features customized ambient lighting, heated front seats that have enough space underneath the floating flip armrests, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, and a front trunk aligned with hard plastic that is used as a coolant.Just behind the rear seats, 29 cubic feet of space is offered or can get up to 60 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded.
Pricing
The price of the 2024 Mustang Mach-E starts at $41,000, going up to $65,000 depending on the trim and option. On the premium model, it’s added with substantial luxuries, and it’s good for longer miles of driving range (320 miles) when paired with the extended range battery and rear wheel drive.
