Toyota will be making the most anticipated debut in the coming few days. They released a billboard sign that shows close-up images of cars, one being of a classic 1960s Toyota 2000 GT, the legendary Lexus LFA, and the long-rumored Lexus LFR supercar.

The billboard teaser is set to be announced on October 13, and Toyota has launched a website with a countdown to Monday, on which it promises, among several others, announcements within the Toyota brand.
They include brands like Lexus, the Luxury Century subbrand, the performance GR division, and Daihatsu. The sign points at the new car wearing a Toyota badge, but we expect to get it in the United States wearing a Lexus logo.

Speculations about the vehicle were first heard about three years ago when David Wilson, previous president of Toyota Racing Development, announced that they are indeed working on a next-generation sport coupe that would succeed the RC and will lie on the basis of the GT3 car.
The sports coupe previewed the LFR, and the automaker has been teasing a debut at the Fuji Speedway, which is the source of the “F” branding.

During the time, David hinted that the new car could have a similar appearance to the Toyota GR GT3 concept, which was shown at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon. Also, the new car blends appearance with prototype supercars that have been spotted being tested by Toyota.
The Toyota or Lexus supercars have been seen during this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed but were camouflaged, and they wrapped the hill climb on both the road and track specifications.
We expect it to come with a front-mounted twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which will be assisted by electric motors. We will be looking at more information once available or released on Monday during the launch.
