The Quail Motorsport Gathering not only revealed some iconic supercars but also revived a new name, ‘Octavia,’ a classic 1971 Aston Martin DBS that was stripped, stretched, and beefed up to create an iconic modern-looking car with classic amenities.

Restomod and Ringbrothers have worked out to see the Aston Martin DBS use a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 fitted with a custom 2.65-liter supercharger, both tuned to offer an incredible output of 805 bhp.

The engine was built by Wagner Motorsport, and the original gearbox has been swapped with a six-speed manual gearbox, which drives the rear wheels, all packed inside a swapped-in custom chassis developed by hot rod specialist Roadster Shop.

Now the wheelbase is 3 inches longer and 8 inches wider for the front and 10 inches wider for the rear. Each corner receives a Fox damper, and the brakes use 380 mm Brembo discs with bespoke center-lock wheels by HRE; this fitting provides sufficient clearance for the brakes and the full carbon body.

The interior is fully restored with sculpted sports bucket seats with the Aston Martin logo embroidered on the headrest. The seats are fully covered with leather, the same as the headrest.

The steering wheel stands out with a mix of leather and polished steel, highlights a circular centerpiece, and features retro-styled gauges with green illumination. The gear shifter is hollow, creating a see-through masterpiece. This was produced with 3D printing technology, the first ever to be produced by the firm.

The two brothers fitted on the car’s body an integrated structural roll cage, giving it a sports car vibe. Beyond its many subtle details, the Octavia carries a refined English sophistication while concealing a raw American ferocity.
